Everyone, I want to introduce you to Drew and Hannah. I have known these two for years and years. We’re all from the same small town and I know Hannah’s family pretty well. I can’t even begin to tell you how honored I am that they asked me to take their wedding photos. They were the 3rd wedding I booked for March in 2014 (which is crazy). March isn’t exactly a super busy time for me. Marching is just around the corner and they, like most of my couples, wanted a fall engagement session. They knew exactly where they wanted to go to as well. Drew’s family has this amazing cabin and lake and it’s the perfect setting for pictures, especially in the evening right before sunset. They even brought their dogs for a quick pic. Hannah was worried that they wouldn’t cooperate but THEY DID and it’s such a cute pic.
It was probably one of the quickest engagement sessions I’ve ever had and they totally rocked it perfectly. Drew is pretty shy and I could tell he wasn’t quite ready for pictures. I mean, who takes portraits on a daily basis???? It’s weird and awkward for most people so when I told him that he seemed to loosen up a bit. I could tell by the end of the session that he was enjoying himself. I kept showing them previews on the back of my camera and he’d just smile and say “That is good!”
Hannah, you are gorgeous and Drew, you shouldn’t be one bit nervous for pictures because you did fantastic. I cannot wait till your wedding day!!!! Here are a few of my favorites from your e-shoot.
