October is always a crazy month for me. As of right now, my photo count that I’ve taken this month alone (and it’s not even over yet) is over 9,000 and I’m super behind on editing. And when I say behind, I only mean like maybe a week behind what I normally like to edit. That’s nothing compared to others in the industry. But for me, I hate having my clients wait to see their pictures, especially my couples!
Daniel and Brittany were married at Fort Kaskaskia in a beautiful outdoor ceremony which reminded me somewhat of a backyard wedding setting. White chairs were set up with an isle set up with shepherd’s hooks holding mason jars and wildflowers. At the front, there was an arch setup with a table sitting next to it with flowers for family members, umbrella’s (in case of rain) and 3 strands where to be braided during the ceremony representing their 2 lives coming together with God as 1 unit. It was oddly warm for an October ceremony and it was only muggy out because it had been raining all morning. Once the sun came out, which was nice for an outdoor ceremony, it made everything steamy and hot. Nobody cared how warm it was, though. All that mattered was that Daniel and Brittany were getting married!!!!
After a wonderful meal, messy cake cutting, dancing their first dance as HUSBAND and WIFE and throwing the bouquet and garter, Daniel and Brittany partied the night away with all of their family and friends. I’m so honored that I was asked to be apart of their big day. I enjoyed their wedding so much and I’m so excited to show you my favorites.
After hair and makeup, right before Brittany got into her dress, she received flowers from Daniel!
Ceremony time!
I love how happy Brittany looks here! She’s smiling at Daniel.
Happy bridesmaids!
MARRIED!!!! And pretty excited about it!
The bridesmaids singing along to songs being played during the receiving line.

FAVORITE right here!
Brittany’s flowers from Daniel were displayed on the dessert table.
The look Brittany gave me when I asked if it was going to be a nice cake cutting experience…..
