I received an email from Kimberly asking me if I was available for a Friday in September for a wedding. Since I don’t normally shoot weddings on Friday I was definitely available. I couldn’t wait to meet her and her fiancé and discuss their big day and the plans they had in store. I actually know her fiancé, Clayton, so when I pulled up to their engagement session I expected things to go smoothly. We started downtown in DuQuoin but the theater and walked around the streets. Then we made our way out to the DuQuoin Fairgrounds for more pictures. We talked about how they met, how Clayton proposed, how they wanted their wedding day to go. Clayton even brought along his guitar which made for some really cool ring shots.
