Ryan + Stephanie | Poplar Bluff, MO Wedding

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I’m posting this wedding a few days later than I originally planned but I’ve been prepping for cheer camp. As you read this, I’m driving 13 of my 14 cheerleaders down to Cape Girardeau, MO for 3 nights and 4 days of cheer camp. I’m super excited and nervous at the same time. My schedule has been crazy the last few weeks and I feel bad for posting this a few days than my normal time frame.

My cousin, DJ, married his best friend last year (their anniversary was yesterday in fact) and at that wedding I met his wife’s brother, Ryan. Ryan was in the wedding naturally and his girlfriend, Stephanie, attended that wedding too. After spending a few hours with them, I knew that they were destined to become husband and wife and it was just a matter of time before Ryan would propose. When I received an email from Stephanie telling me she was engaged and that she wanted me to shoot her and Ryan’s wedding, I was so excited and we started talking about engagement pictures and everything.

They were married in one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever been in. It was so grand and the chandelier hanging in the center of the chapel was so magnificent that it took my breath away. As Stephanie walked down the isle with her father, I briefly looked over at Ryan and the emotion he was showing was so strong and you could see how in awe of his bride he was. They decided to stay traditional and NOT see each other beforehand so this was the first time he was seeing his bride. The moment was beautiful as well as the whole ceremony. At the end, the pastor could barely get it out of his mouth that Ryan could kiss his bride when Ryan quickly grabbed Stephanie and dipped her, planting a huge kiss on her to seal the deal. I had NO idea he was doing it and it was so exciting to capture.

After family formals and bridal party portraits, we all made our way to the reception where tables were dressed in black with blush and white roses centerpieces. It was a pretty large venue to hold all of their closest family and friends, I think the biggest venue in town. Ryan and Stephanie danced the night away and it was so great to wish them off to their honeymoon, which they were driving straight to St. Louis to hop on a plan for. The whole day was amazing and I’m so happy I got to be apart of it. I want to give a special shout out to Ryan’s parents for letting me crash at their place for the weekend. I had a blast!

I hope you all have a wonderful week. Enjoy looking through my favorites from Ryan and Stephanie’s big day!

Stunning, Stephanie! Stunning.

Stephanie was pretty excited about becoming a wife! Thumbs up!
