Daniel + Lindsay | Traditional Aqua & Silver Wedding

June 13, 2014

Filed in: Uncategorized

Oh goodness, I don’t even know where to start with this blog post. When I met Daniel and Lindsay in the fall for their engagement pictures, it took me a matter of like 5 minutes to realize that these two are perfect for each other. The way Daniel looks at Lindsay is the way I hope to have my future husband look at me. Their love is contagious and I knew that the day they said “I DO” together would be magical.

They were married a week ago in Sparta at the First United Methodist Church. The day called for 80% chance of rain and possible storms. We had a plan B so Lindsay really didn’t stress too much about pictures. It’s always nice to have a plan B because otherwise you’re stuck in the church for all of the pictures and that’s just not fun LOL. I’m not a traditional wedding photographer so shooting indoors is not really my thing. I was going to find a place for this wedding party outdoors for pictures and wasn’t going to let possible storms stop me. It did rain a little bit during the ceremony but stopped just long enough for them to walk out to bubbles that their guests were blowing. I’ve never seen so many bubbles in my life! There was absolutely no wind so they all floated nicely and filled the air. After checking the radar we noticed that we had a little bit to go before the rain was suppose to hit again, so we just stuck with our plan B (just in case it came early) and went to the Pierre Menard Home. It has a wonderful porch that’s big enough to fit an entire wedding party if need be. We lucked out and were able to get all of the portraits without rain.

The reception hall was decorated by Daniel and Lindsay and their family/friends. It was absolutely gorgeous and Lindsay designed the backdrop for the head table all by herself! It was stunning and really stood out for their pictures. It’s always nice to see ideas that DIY brides come up with. With the help of Pinterest anything is possible!

I’m so excited and honored to show you my favorites from Daniel and Lindsay’s wedding day. It was such a beautiful day and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I LOVE MY JOB!!!
