When I started my business 6 years ago, I never dreamed that I would make the kind of connections that I have with my clients. I have some clients that I met the first year of my business that still come to be for portraits and it’s such a great feeling. It’s an even better feeling when those clients come to you and they say they’re engaged and they want you to shoot their wedding! When I got the email from Sierra telling me she was engaged and that she and her fiancĂ© wanted me to be their wedding photographer, I was so excited.
I have known Sierra ever since her senior portraits with her twin sister a few years ago. Since that session, I’ve seen her and her family numerous times, including her sister’s wedding (Samantha and Jake which you can view here). I love this family and I cannot wait till next summer when she and Zach get married.
Zach and Sierra entered into the Belleville News Democrat Fairytale Wedding Giveaway and they WON! They received some amazing prizes to help plan their wedding and I cannot wait to see how the day unfolds. Until then…enjoy looking at a few of my favorites from my time with them.
Sierra’s father, Sid, suggested that we try to use colored smoke bombs for some portraits. It was a lot of fun playing around with them.
The ring shot in the middle is pretty cool. The blue stuff is the chalky bits from the inside of the smoke bomb.
I’m pretty sure Zach is writing a song for Sierra to sing at their wedding. How cute is that??!!!?
Beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple.
