Summer is almost over and most of the people I know are wishing it would stick around a tad longer. For me, I’ve been patiently waiting for fall so that I can wear jeans and hoodies, roast s’mores on a camp fire and for cooler evenings to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. I guess you can get some of those things in the summertime, but it’s so much better in the fall. You know what else is great in the fall? A wedding 🙂

Everyone, meet Lisa and Piotr. They are getting married this fall and they kick off my fall wedding season. I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time now. But you can’t have a wedding without engagement photos! That’s where this post comes in. I get to show you how cute these two are and just how amazing they are together.

Piotr is from Poland and he and Lisa met in college, at Southern Illinois University. They had some classes together and Lisa noticed him right away. Piotr is super shy (after all, he did move here from another country and didn’t know anyone LOL). If you know Lisa at all, you’ll know that she’s pretty confident and not shy! She knows no stranger! She went up to Piotr and introduced herself and asked if he was indeed Piotr because she knew everyone in the class already. The next class they had she saved the seat next to her, hoping that he would come sit next to her. He saw her book bag in the seat and thought it was taken so he sat somewhere else! Lisa walked right over to him, sat down and told him that she had saved the seat next to her! It was all just a misunderstanding but one that led them both into an amazing relationship they have today. Piotr likes that Lisa goes for what she wants and is strong and confident and Lisa loves that Piotr is so romantic and sweet. They feed off each other so well. You can definitely tell they are each other’s best friend and they cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together.

So, if you’re like me and patiently waiting for fall, sit tight just a little bit longer. Soon, we’ll all be sitting around a fire, smearing chocolate and marsh-mellows all over our faces while eyeing up all of the beautiful images I’ll get of Lisa and Piotr’s wedding. Trust me, it’s going to be amazing wedding so stay tuned for that blog post.
