Spring Wedding at the Seasons Event Center
Remember the wedding giveaway that I held that year with a bunch of other great wedding vendors? Well Chris and Sarah were the winners and it seemed like the day would never get here. I remember waking up that morning and I thought to myself, “it’s finally here!” I couldn’t wait to see Chris, Sarah and all of their family and friends. I also couldn’t wait to work with the amazing lineup of vendors. I met up with Savanna Kathleen Photography, my second shooter, at the church that morning and we started taking bridal details until Sarah and her bridesmaids showed up. Once they arrived, I sent Savanna off to meet up with Chris and the groomsmen to do their portraits. The timeline was pretty tight so it was great having a second shooter that day! I’m so used to doing weddings on my own so I was feeling spoiled to have Savanna helping me out. The morning couldn’t have gone smoother and it flew by so fast because before I knew it, it was time to get Sarah prepped and ready to walk down the isle.
Chris and Sarah decided to stay traditional and not see each other till Sarah walked down the isle. I know grooms have to feel super nervous at this moment because there are tons of eyes on you ready to see your reaction. Chris was smiling from ear to ear and he couldn’t wait for Sarah to get down that isle to him. The ceremony was short and sweet but my favorite part was after the ceremony when they walked out to celebrate with all of their guests. Everyone was clapping and cheering so loudly. Then Chris whipped Sarah around and put her into a dip pose and laid a big kiss on her. We totally practiced the “dip” pose during the engagement session and I never know when a groom is going to do it, or if he’ll even do it at all (unless of course it’s posed). Chris looked at me afterwards and we gave each other that nod of approval. It was awesome!
After some bridal party portraits at the church and in downtown Red Bud, we all made our way to Sparta to the Seasons Event Center, or as some of you would know it, the World Shooting Complex. The reception site was decorated beautifully by the wonderful Twig Floral Designs. White lanterns and a variety of vases were around the whole room with a mix of colorful flowers. I always love walking into a reception because the room is filled with tons of chatter and laugher. Everyone is having a good time and is ready to celebrate. I was definitely a celebration in the making. Chris and Sarah know how to throw one heck of a party.
I want to give a huge shoutout to the amazing vendors who were apart of this wedding giveaway with me. Thank you for helping put on the wedding of Chris and Sarah’s dreams.
