Fall Red Bud, Illinois Wedding

You know those days where you lay down for bed and all you can keep thinking to yourself is, “Man, today was such an amazing day!” Well Olivia and Tyler’s wedding day was one of those days. From the minute I stepped foot in the home where Olivia was getting ready with her bridesmaids, I knew it was going to be a fabulous day. Mimosas were being poured, the smell of hairspray was in the air and there were sounds of laughter and story-telling all around me. I always start off my wedding days by taking photos of all the details. The invitation, rings, flowers, shoes, jewelry, perfume and any other accessories are all so important. Weddings take a long time to plan. So many decisions have to be made and it can get stressful at time. It’s important to take pictures of everything, so that years down the road you can look back on your wedding day and remember all of those details that made your wedding so special. I absolutely loved all of Olivia’s details. Her style is so fabulous and her dress was simply amazing! That girl would look good in a paper bag, but on a serious note, that dress was gorgeous. Just wait till you see it below!

The ladies were running a tad behind all morning but we finally made our way to the ceremony just in time. Olivia and Tyler decided to stay traditional and not see each other til she walked down the aisle. It was a beautiful moment to witness. Tyler saw her coming and put his head down to take a deep breath and then he looked back up with the biggest smile on his face and waited for her. The ceremony was short, sweet and wonderful and with the most beautiful natural light coming through floor to ceiling windows.

My favorite part of the day was portrait time. We moved all around downtown Red Bud and then ended up at Tyler’s parents’ home for some fun pics with old classic cars and a firetruck! Such a great time with Olivia, Tyler and their bridal party. They had a large bridal party and I love big bridal parties because there’s so much energy and joy. We got some really great shots, especially the one with them all on the firetruck.

The evening ended with a beautiful reception with 350 of their closest friends and family. They had a beautiful cake with Olivia’s parents’ cake topper (which was adorable) and they had a cool neon sign by their card/gift table that came in handy for some great portraits. I walked away that night with a huge smile on my face and my heart was filled with so much joy. Both Olivia and Tyler have the sweetest friends and family and they welcomed me in as one of their own that day. I’m so honored to have been a part of this wedding and I can’t wait for you two see my all of my favorites. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
